Modified on Fri, 3 Oct at 1:16 PM

The integration between Settify and LEAP is available in the following practice areas:

  • Australia: Family Law and Wills

  • United Kingdom: Probate

Once set up, the integration enables seamless client onboarding, automated matter creation, and efficient document management between Settify and LEAP.

1. Overview

  • From Settify (Family Law, Wills, or Probate):

    • Go to Configure Settify → Integrations → LEAP → Connect

    • Enter your LEAP username and password

    • Authorise the connection by clicking Allow

  • If you have multiple practice areas enabled:
You only need to enter your LEAP username and password once. When connecting the second practice area, just select LEAP as the integration — the system will recognise the existing connection.

2. Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Log in to your Settify Admin Dashboard.

  2. Navigate to Configure Settify → Integrations.

  3. Select LEAP from the dropdown and click Connect.

  4. Enter your LEAP login details, then click Sign In.

  5. Review and Allow the requested permissions.

  6. You’ll be redirected to Settify, where the integration page will update to confirm a successful connection.

  7. Enable the integration in LEAP:

    • Open LEAP and go to the App Marketplace from the left-hand menu.

    • Locate the Settify app and click Enable.

    • Once enabled, you’ll be able to invite clients to Settify directly from LEAP.

3. Creating Matters in LEAP

Once integration is enabled, you can create matters directly from Settify:

  1. Open a client file in your Settify Admin Dashboard.

  2. Click Send record to LEAP (top-right corner).

  3. Select the Matter Type and assign Key Staff Members.

    • Note: If your firm doesn’t use LEAP’s auto-numbering, you’ll see a Matter Number field.

  4. Complete the required fields and click Create LEAP matter.

  5. The system will confirm successful creation.

    • The Matter Number will be auto-generated according to your LEAP settings.

  6. The new matter will now appear in your LEAP Matter List, pre-populated with:

    • Client details (parties, children, properties)

    • Settify-generated documents

You can edit details within LEAP if a client provided incorrect information.

4. Inviting Clients to Settify from LEAP

With the integration active, you can invite clients directly from within LEAP:

  1. In LEAP, click the Menu icon at the top left.

  2. Select Send a Settify Invitation.

    • Note: This button only works if the integration has been activated from inside Settify first.

  3. Use the Settify interface to send the invitation.

Your integration is now complete.
Clients can be invited seamlessly, matters flow directly from Settify into LEAP, and all key details and documents are automatically synchronised.
